Here’s the full script of a play I wrote in 2000, with some notes from me at the start.
The piece has three characters and is written in fairly tight verse, with each character having their own rhythmic style. One of the characters stammers.
When I decided to share the full script here, I was lucky to find theatre maker Nye Russell-Thompson of Stammermouth theatre company with whom I consulted about the representation of speech disfluency in this play.
I’m really grateful to him for his expertise. He wrote a response to the piece, too, which I’ll share here tomorrow.
